The Asian American Studies section is a loosely categorized section that is not inclusive to the borders of the United States and includes the Asian diaspora throughout the world.  This section also includes indigenous Pacific Islander people's whose experience differs from the migration of those from Asian countries.  Book topics in this section include social political histories and studies of the people within these categories.
